The 5th Asian-Pacific Conference on Ionic Liquids & Green Processes (APCIL-5) was held in Hangzhou, at Zhejiang Narada Grand Hotel from October 26th to 29th 2016. The main theme of this conference is Green Energy, Environment & Materials.
APCIL was first held in 2008 and to be continued every two years. The scientific theme of APCIL encompasses a series of topics, including not only breakthroughs in fundamental research but also progress in practical industrial application.
Two members of our group, including Pro. Wei Li and Dr. Yanzhao Dong attended the conference. In this conference, Pro. Wei Li gave an oral presentation entitled “Ru-based Catalyst for Acetylene Hydrochlorination Enhanced by Quaternary Phosphonium Ionic Liquid” and Dr. Yanzhao Dong made a poster presentation entitled “Dehydrochlorination of 1,2-dichloroethane catalyzed by activated carbon supported quaternary phosphonium ionic liquids”. This conference helps us know more much application fields, such as swage treatment, drug extraction and biomass conversion. During the communication, we discuss some queries about the synthesis of noble metal cluster with international colleagues. More important, it is an unforgettable and meaningful experience for post graduate.
