The seminar "Promoting High-quality Development of Petroleum and Chemical Enterprises through Digital Innovation and Intelligent Operation" and the 18^th Annual Meeting of Information Technology Application Committee organized by Chemical Society of China Professional Committee of Information Technology Application, jointly undertaken by Tianjin University and China National Chemical Information Center Co.,Ltd, has been successfully held in Tianjin, September 16~18, 2021. More than 100 researchers from colleges, universities, institutes and enterprises participated and provided cutting edge presentations on how to improve the production efficiency of petrochemical enterprises through digital innovation, promote intelligent operation of enterprises information technology and strategic topics, etc.

On the evening of Sept. 17^th, Prof. Zhang Jinli chaired the section of oral presentation of young researchers. On the morning of Sept. 18^th, Prof. Han You provided the presentation on the development of efficient force fields in molecular simulations for reactions in environmental chemical industry. Most of the postgraduates in CPI team have listened to the valuable presentations in this seminar and worked as volunteers.
